Disk Utilityand then choose your startup disk. - Click
Erase. - Format it as
APFS(orMac OS Extended (Journaled)for older systems) withGUID Partition Map.
Then return to the main menu and select Reinstall macOS.
This method erases everything on the drive – proceed only if you’ve backed up your data.
6. Download a fresh installer or try using a combo update
